We multiply your daily distance (km) by the EV's energy use (kWh/100km), then multiply by your electricity rate (cents/kWh). Singapore's SP Group residential rate is around 28–32 cents/kWh. Note that public charger rates at Shell Recharge, TGUC or other providers may be higher.

State of Health is the percentage of original battery capacity still available. A new EV is 100% SoH; after several years it may fall to 85–90%. Below 75–80% you will notice a meaningful loss of range. Singapore's warm climate is generally gentler on battery chemistry than cold climates, but frequent DC fast charging can accelerate degradation.

A 7 kW AC charger (common in condominiums and car parks) adds roughly 40–50 km of range per hour. DC fast chargers (50–150 kW) available at Shell Recharge and other networks can bring a depleted pack to 80% in 20–40 minutes. Singapore's compact geography means most journeys are easily covered on a single overnight charge.
