Essential Cookies

The auth_token cookie is strictly necessary for the platform to function. Without it you would be logged out on every page navigation. This cookie cannot be disabled while you are logged in to Car Spot.

Performance Cookies

The cs_visitor cookie is set the first time you view a car listing on Car Spot. It contains a randomly generated identifier (not linked to any account or personal data) that lets us distinguish first-time visitors from returning ones on a per-listing basis. Sellers can then see, on their dashboard, how many unique visitors their listing has received and which platforms (e.g. WhatsApp, Facebook) drove that traffic.

This cookie is set by Car Spot directly (first-party) and is not shared with any third party. You can delete it at any time via your browser settings.

Analytics Cookies

We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage data — such as which pages are visited most and how long people spend on the site. This helps us understand what is working well and where we can improve. The data collected does not identify you personally.

You can opt out of Google Analytics at any time by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Managing Cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the site — in particular, you will not be able to stay logged in without the auth_token cookie.
