Your Car Spot dealer profile is the first thing Thai buyers look at when they want to know who they are buying from. A complete, professional profile builds the trust that turns a listing view into an enquiry. Yet many dealers spend all their time on individual vehicle listings while leaving their profile incomplete—missing a significant opportunity to convert browsers into buyers.
Why Your Profile Matters to Thai Buyers
Trust is especially important in the Thai used car market, where buyers are cautious about dealing with unfamiliar dealers. A complete Car Spot dealer profile—with clear photos, an accurate address, verifiable contact information, and a professional description—reduces this hesitation and gives serious buyers the confidence to make an enquiry.
Where to Edit Your Profile
All profile settings are managed from the Car Spot Content dashboard at /dealer/dashboard/content. Changes go live across all your listings immediately. You can update your profile at any time without affecting your active listings.
Step 1: Write Your Dealership Description
Write a concise description (100–200 words) that explains who you are, what types of vehicles you specialise in, and what makes your dealership worth contacting. If you are an authorised dealer for a specific brand, state that clearly. If you are an independent showroom, mention how long you have been operating and any warranty or after-sales service you offer.
Step 2: Upload Showroom Photos
Photos of your showroom tell buyers immediately whether you run a professional operation. Upload at least three to five photos: the exterior of your premises, the showroom floor, and optionally a team photo. In Thailand, where many buyers visit via Google Maps to check the location before travelling, a clear exterior photo that matches what they will see in person is particularly valuable.
Step 3: Set Accurate Opening Hours
Thai buyers often check opening hours before travelling to a dealership. Enter your opening hours for each day of the week accurately. Many Thai dealerships are open seven days a week, including Sundays—make sure your Car Spot profile reflects this. Update your hours promptly during Thai public holidays (วันหยุดนักขัตฤกษ์) to avoid buyers making a wasted journey.
Step 4: Verify Your Location
Confirm that your address and location pin are accurate. Car Spot uses your location to surface your listings to buyers searching nearby. An incorrect pin can result in your listings appearing in wrong area searches or buyers being unable to find you when they visit. Double-check the map pin against your actual address.
Step 5: Add a Phone Number
Thai buyers frequently prefer to call or contact via LINE rather than send a written message. Including your contact number on your Car Spot profile ensures these buyers can reach you directly. A LINE ID is also worth adding if your dealership uses LINE for customer communication.
